COVID-19 Pandemic Information

To protect Northern Beaches Cancer Care Centre patients and staff from potential exposure to COVID-19 the following measures are in place:

For Patients

Please do not attend NBCCC if:

  1. You have cold/flu symptoms or fever
  2. You have returned from overseas within 14 days prior to your appointment
  3. You have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19

If you have any concerns, discuss with your Oncologist or GP.

Please advise the NBCCC Admin team 02 8377 2700 if you meet any of the above criteria
We request visitors be limited to a maximum of one family member or support person per patient.

  

For Visitors (including Contractors, Suppliers and External Healthcare Workers)

Please do not attend NBCCC if:

  1. You have cold/flu symptoms or fever
  2. You have returned from overseas within 14 days prior to your planned visit,
    date of contracted work or delivery to the Centre.
  3. You have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19

Screening and Assessment

Screening and Assessment measures are in place for all patients and visitors to the Centre.  We appreciate your cooperation in complying with these measures and following the directions given by our clinical staff. If you have any questions please call the centre on 02 8377 2700 and ask to speak with the Director of Nursing or Nursing Unit Manager.
